Its All in The Game training center will be hosting a Holiday Baseball Camp January 3-6, 2012 at their facility and Peoria Sports Complex. The new center is scheduled to open soon after the first of the year, and this pre-grand opening event should be a good one, staffed by former MLB players, MLB coaches and college coaches.

With the holiday season approaching there are a number of camp opportunities available. For junior high and high school aged players, I always recommend the guys at PHD Baseball for their holiday camp, which this year is being held December 22-23 at Camp Verde High School.  www.phdbaseball.com

The thing that sets this camp apart is the staff, which consists of college coaches and  a number of the local MLB area scouts as well as Ric Wilson, the Scouting Director for the Los Angels Angels. Not only is the instruction top notch, these guys are all excellent references for the player looking to play after high school.

At $150 per player its a deal. Take a couple of days and go get your Baseball PHD.

Central Arizona College is also holding a 2 day pitching camp on December `10-11.  This camp will be overseen by CAC Pitching Coach Mike Orchard. Central is one of the nation’s  top Junior College programs. 2011 CAC Pitching Camp
